I am an emerging artist based in Austin, Texas. My current work incorporates textiles, paint, paper, and various mixed media to explore the relationship between nature and domesticity. Through collage, I often depict landscapes and decorative objects that bear traces of the natural world. I believe that we are inherently drawn to nature—celebrating its wildness while simultaneously attempting to capture and contain it, placing it on a shelf or a wall.

I am fascinated by the interplay between bringing nature indoors and extending the comforts of the indoors outward. To express this, I use found fabrics, paper, and paint to blur the boundaries between interior space and the natural environment.
